Love your job with a passion or risk dropping dead from a heart attack on Monday morning

If we don’t love what we do, and the company and the people we work for and with, the personal and professional cost could be a broken heart, says Nina Spencer, a motivational speaker and author of Getting Passion Out of Your Profession: How to Keep Loving Your Living … Come What May, released on Valentines Day. “The majority of heart attacks in men occur between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. on a Monday morning. For too many people, Monday is Doomsday,” Ms. Spencer says, adding, “If your love affair with work has waned, you may be faced with some tough choices about your job: Love it, leave it, change it or stay and hate it.” She says staying and hating it can kill the energy and productivity of not just the individual but the whole team.
